Guided walk with a visit to Trostburg/Castel Forte WEDNESDAYS

Together with our hiking guide Helmuth, we start at the village square in Laion and follow the Walther von der Vogelweide circular trail towards Ried. Along the way, we visit several stations dedicated to his history and make a short detour to the birthplace of the famous minstrel. Upon reaching Trostburg Castle, we explore the former residence of Oswald von Wolkenstein, one of the most impressive castles in South Tyrol. At the end of the visit, we hike down to Ponte Gardena, from where we take the bus back to Laion
